Emanuel's Future

The future of Emanuel is bright and filled with God's promise.

Through its partnership with Lutheran Children and Family Services, Emanuel is fulfilling a mission of Christian service to the community with a broad range of programs and services designed to aid our neighbors in this time of great change for Southwark and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Through its ambitious restoration project, the Emanuel congregation is committed to providing spaces for worship, Christian study and fellowship, and social and community services and activities.

Through its ongoing programs, Emanuel offers to its members and to its neighbors and friends the opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Church Council and other church leaders are prayerfully considering Emanuel's mission, needs, resources, and opportunities to share the good news, and are in the process of creating a five-year-plan to take Emanuel into the next millennium. Come celebrate our past and be part of our future!
